Alex is the seasoned expert leading our protection dog program. With over 15 years of experience in breeding and training German Shepherds, Alex's love for these exceptional animals is evident in every aspect of his work. His passion led him to establish his own breeding program, Caine De Lup, with a mission to produce the highest quality German Shepherd Dogs. Alex meticulously selects and trains dogs for our protection program, ensuring they possess the finest genetics and receive the highest caliber training in the industry. His commitment to excellence ensures that every protection dog from True Guard K9 is a reliable and loyal guardian.

Obedience Program Director
A certified Master Dog Trainer, Tara oversees all obedience and behavior training programs. Tara's true passion in life is dogs, and her mission is to ensure that you and your dog have a safe and happy life together. With a focus on creating a harmonious bond between you and your dog, Tara's training methods are designed to achieve safety, freedom, and joy for your dog. Her dedication and expertise ensure that every dog she trains is not only well-behaved but also a source of pride and happiness for their owners.
True Start Puppy Basics
Our True Start Puppy Foundations program is a six-week group training program designed for puppies 18 weeks and younger. This structured introduction covers crate training, potty training, food luring basics and markers, play development, and early socialization, helping set the stage for future obedience. While this program does not create a fully trained dog, it provides essential groundwork for success. Owners who enroll also receive a preferred rate on our Advanced Obedience & Behavior Board & Train.
Training takes place at our facility 6090 Riley Road Cumming, GA.
